| Note from Louie & Ann McKown At the time of the attack on the Livingston place, William Jr. was living at Castlewoods on the other side of the mountain. Benge marched the Livingston women past his home and intended to raid them also, but a party was hot on his trail and the militia was forming, so he bypassed that place. Henry went west and took over his brother, William's farm/house. William Jr. pushed on to Missouri. Samuel went south and possibly also brother John. |
