| Samuel Livingston Born December 24, 1757 Died October 6, 1834 Samuel entered the service in the fall of 1776 under the following named officers: Colonel Christy, Captain Isaac Bledsoe, Lieut. Peter Livingston (his brother - had command of the volunteers in Washington County, Virginia Samuel was engaged chiefly in guarding the frontier of Virginia. He served as a soldier - private. He claimed a pension which was granted in the court of Morgan Co., Alabama, where he appeared 22 November 1832, aged 74 years and made his declaration in order to obtain the benefit of the Act of Congress passed 7 June 1832.
