"Haden" Hensley dies at his rural home
Funeral services were conducted at Johnson Chapel this afternoon for G. W. "Haden" Hensley, 74, who died at 4:30 Friday afternoon at his home, Hartselle Route 2. Burial was directed by Drinkard-Howell, of Hartselle.
Mr. Hensley is survived by his widow, three sons, E. D., D. E., and L. F.; two daughters, Mrs. J. D. Reeves and Mrs. W. S. Segars, 23 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services Sunday for Mrs. Hensley
Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Johnson's Chapel for Mrs. Lily Sterling Hensley, 88, with Rev. Sammy Stabler officiating. Burial will be in the adjacent cemetery, Peck directing.
Mrs. Hensley died at her home on Hartselle Route 2 at 1 a.m.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Katie Reeves, Danville 3, Mrs. Georgia Segars, Danville 2; and three sons; E. D., Danville 3, F.L., Hartselle 2; and D. E. Danville 3.
She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and great great grandchild.

1870 census of Township 6 Range 6 Lawrence County, Alabama, enumerated on 8 August 1870 by W. S. Williams - Dry Creek, Alabama lists Delphia Sterling at age 31 as head of household with Eluisa (9) and Franklin (8) in household. Later records indicate name to be Lilly Eveleer Sterling.
